Every February backyard birders across the globe submit their bird counts for the Great Backyard Bird Count. This awesome event gives scientists a snapshot of where birds are. Join us to learn how you can get involved, and we’ll practice by taking a walk to count birds here in the preserve. We’ll warm up after our walk with some hot chocolate and make a birdfeeder to attract birds to your backyard. Advance registration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
