Durant Nature Preserve is a 237-acre City of Raleigh Parkland, with trails (1.1 miles paved), rental facilities, and programs that beckons you to consider the possibilities and design a primer outing or event. Trails And Nature: Travel on five miles of hiking trails to scenic overlooks, along two lakes, through woodland wildflowers and fern gardens, and along a stream with unique rock features. Stop by the park office where friendly and knowledgeable staff can assist you in choosing a trail. Use our nature resource room to get information about the park flora or fauna.
