Park Description

The Pullen Amusements area has undergone extensive renovations. Renovations include a new carousel house, welcome center, concessions building, restroom, and train station. Site improvements of the center include a new entrance, event spaces, playground, underground utilities, and picnic shelters. Additionally Lake Howell was drained and dredged for regular lake maintenance and to allow for updates including a new apron and installation of a geothermal energy system. Pullen Park was founded on March 22, 1887 by Richard Stanhope Pullen. Once farm land, Mr. Pullen donated the land as a gift to the City of Raleigh to be used as park land. Some fees are required for some of the park features.

Ride Ticket Information:

Tickets are required for each ride in PullenPark. Each amusement ride requires a certain number of tickets in order to ride.
