Park Description
The Hunt Community Center is located in the heart of Holly Springs, adjacent to Womble Park. Formerly an elementary school building, the Town purchased this facility in 1996. Fitness classes and two fitness rooms, arts & crafts classes, leisure activities, after-school programs and more are offered in the facility, which also includes a gymnasium. Four classrooms are available for rent for meetings, conferences, workshops and other purposes. The gymnasium is available for rent for basketball.
The fitness room, located in the center of the building, contains stationary bikes, treadmills and elliptical trainers for burning fat and increasing aerobic endurance. Resistance machines for every major muscle group are available to build and tone muscle. Mats for stretching and extras, including balance balls and free weights, are also available. Monthly or yearly passes are available for purchase.
Fees will apply to some events.
Hours of Operation: Fitness Room: Monday - Thursday 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday 8:00 a.m to noon.
Gymnasium closing depends on the completion of scheduled events.
