Park Description
Located within the softball complex are nine fenced diamonds with skinned infields, hybrid grass outfields, underground irrigation, halogen lighting and scorekeeping equipment. Enclosed dugouts have telephones that lead to the control tower. Aluminum bleachers can seat up to 1500 spectators. Enjoy a classic "hot dog" and an assortment of food and beverages at the snack bar. Ice chests, glass and alcoholic beverages are not allowed and "tailgating" in the parking lot is not permitted. At tournaments and special events an admission fee will be charged. There is no fee for City league play. Players, umpires and staff in uniform will be admitted at no charge. The parking lot and fields at the softball complex are patrolled periodically by the Raleigh Park Police. However, valuables should not be left unlocked in parked vehicles. Patrons are urged to lock all valuables in the trunks of their cars. Emergency medical services are located in close proximity to the complex. The complex also contains basic first aid equipment and supplies. Play will be postponed if weather conditions are such that injury to participants or damage to the playing fields could occur.
