North Carolina State Fairgrounds at Dorton Arena, Graham Building, Exposition Center, Scott Building & Holshouser Building. March 1st-3rd. Friday 11am-8pm; Saturday 9am-7pm; Sunday 9am-5pm. Admission is $12 for age 13 and older (get your hand stamped for return admission good all 3 days), children 12 and under are admitted free. SPECIAL ADMISSION ticket for Friday Only: All Youth age 13 to 18, Seniors 65 and over, Military, and Women can purchase their admission ticket for $6.
Deer Hunters Convention. Wake County Wildlife Club presents their 39th annual event designed to offer the latest in hunting equipment from more than 200 vendors. Seminars, displays, trophy scoring, and archery competition. Special GuestJim Shockey, Frank Addington, Larysa Switlyk, Eva Shockey. Over $60,000 in hunting gear and prizes given away each year. Special Features: NTWF Turkey Callers Competition, Call Makers Competition, Trail Cam, Video Contest, Ourdoor Lore, Carolina Dock Diving Dogs and for the kids a Sea Fishing Rodeo and Scavenger Hunt.
