Speaker: Frank Amoroso, Historical Novelist This entertaining look at some of the state’s most enduring baseball legends will include Babe Ruth, who attended his first spring training camps in Fayetteville and Wilmington during 1914 and is featured in Wopper, a new series of books by Amoroso that introduces readers to Ruth. A Q&A session and book signing will follow the program. The event is free to the public.
