This is Wake County Library"s annual book sale with more than 200,000 books.

This popular event gives visitors the opportunity to pick up some favorite books—and discover new reads—at great prices. The books are in good condition. Some are pulled out of circulation, and others come from donations library locations already have duplicate copies. Prices Plenty of bestsellers are up for grabs, as well as cookbooks, textbooks and books on history and religion. Cash, checks and all major credit cards accepted. Free admission. Hours and Prices:

Bring your own handcart. Assisted drive-up loading available.
All Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) teachers and media specialists with a current WCPSS ID are invited to attend the Wake County Public Library Book Sale and select two free boxes of books for classroom use. Boxes will be available, but teachers are encouraged to bring carts to carry boxes to their cars. Teachers must show a current WCPSS badge to receive the free boxes. This year, in lieu of a teacher pre-sale, the book sale will open early and WCPSS teachers and media specialists are invited to attend the sale at any time during the public hours.
