May the 4th Be With You Greenway Tour

Meets at Raleigh Brewing Company.
This is a free, celebratory, family-friendly Greenway ride, with an after-party social at Raleigh Brewing Company. We will be leading 12 and 20 mile rides led by members of Oaks & Spokes and friends of Bike MS.

GoSmart Family Bike Ride

Join a Crabtree Community bike ride led by the City of Raleigh with help from Oak & Spokes and sponsorship by AARP. Bring your own bicycle or request a Citrix Cycle bikeshare bike to try out for this event.

The Capital City Bike Ride is the City of Raleigh’s kickoff event for Bike Month. Join city staff, elected officials, and fellow Raleighites for a casual morning ride through downtown Raleigh.

Minduro Ride

Pine State Coffee is hosting a mini-Manduro ride. Get ready for up to 6 hours and 70 miles of pure riding bliss, with 7 checkpoint boxes to find and several tasks to complete. The mystery route is revealed as you ride, one spot at a time on Google Maps. Registration is $50 by May 7.

Kids, bring your bike, trike and helmet and get rolling! The Marbles Bike Rodeo on the Roll with RPD Bike Patrol is a free community event hosted in partnership with RPD’s Southeast District Community squad and Oaks & Spokes. Hargett Street between Blount and Person Streets will be closed to vehicles so taht kids can enjoy bike safety & obstacle courses, maintenance checks, helmet fittings, the Bike Bling MakeShop, and Art on the Move. Swap It Out: Bring your outgrown bikes, helmets & other wheelie fun items to donate to another family or trade for something more your size.

Mother’s Day Ride

This second annual mother’s day ride will start at the Capitol Building on the Morgan Street side, and take a leisurely ride to JC Ralston Arboretum to smell the roses, sip some tea and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Moms not required! Just bring yourself, a helmet, a bike and some water. All levels of riders welcome, we’re in it to enjoy the ride.

Bring your bike smarts and join the Raleigh Community Kickstand as they repair bikes to be donated to folks in need in the Raleigh area.

Citrix Cycle Try-it
May 18th 10AM – 11AM
Meets at the Greenway entrance of the NC Museum of Art near Blue Ridge Rd, look for the GoSmart sign. Try Raleigh’s new bikeshare at the NC Museum of Art! Experience and learn how to ride an electric assist bicycle. This will be a leisurely Greenway ride organized by the City of Raleigh in collaboration with Citrix Cycles. We encourage you to take the GoRaleigh #27 or ride your bicycle to the event. Please bring your helmet.

Light Up The Night Ride

The brightest bike ride of the year is back again! Ten percent of Crank Arm sales will be donated to Oaks & Spokes! Pizza provided to riders at the end of the ride!
Ride will last roughly 1 hour, with a hangout afterwards.
