Hands-On in the Hive

Historic Oak View County Park
Historic Oak View County Park Sunday , March 24th 1pm-3pm Admission is free

Bring your veil, hive tool and smoker! Grab a friend and come play with some bees!! General public is welcome. Watch and participate as Mr. Buzz Ben Crawley inspects real hives with real bees. Questions from the crowd are encouraged! You do not need to be a beekeeper or a club member to attend.

This is also the time to take the practical part of the NCSBA Certified Beekeeper program. If you have passed the written test in the last 3 years, it is not too late to finish the process!

With the exception of March and April, this event takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month until September from 1 pm to 3 pm.
