It"s hot! What better way to cool off than with a slice of watermelon. Did you know watermelon helps to keep many of the Museum"s animals cool as well? Join them for a day of special animal programs as we explore hot weather animal care. Watch lemurs sample frozen melon "pops", black bears swim for whole melons, and more!
They"re celebrating National Watermelon Day and YOU can get in on the fun! Bring a melon for their Keepers to share with your favorite animals and enjoy a day full of special melon-themed programming!
