Knightdale Spring Carnival

Midtown Commons plaza, 200 Hinton Oaks Blvd. Thursday, March 28th - Sunday, April 7th Admission to the carnival is free, as is parking in the adjacent lots. For the carnival rides, you may purchase individual tickets, sheets of tickets, or a wristband for rides all day (single day). Ride wristbands are $25.

The Spring carnival, organized by the Knightdale Police Department as a Special Olympics fundraiser, returns on Thursday, March 28, 2019, starting at 5pm.

The carnival is scheduled to be open for eleven days, including two weekends, with an expected end-date of Sunday, April 7, 2019.

The carnival schedule this year, weather permitting, is as follows:

Thursday, March 28 — 5-10pm
Friday, March 29 — 5-11pm
Saturday, March 30 — noon-11pm
Sunday, March 31 — 1-10pm
Monday, April 1 — 5-10pm
Tuesday, April 2 — 5-10pm
Wednesday, April 3 — 5-10pm
Thursday, April 4 — 5-10pm
Friday, April 5 — 5-11pm
Saturday, April 6 — noon-11pm
Sunday, April 7 — 1-10pm*
*May close at 11pm on the final Sunday.

Admission to the carnival is free, as is parking in the adjacent lots. Each year, the carnival sets up inside Midtown Commons plaza, 200 Hinton Oaks Boulevard, Knightdale, North Carolina.

For the carnival rides, you may purchase individual tickets, sheets of tickets, or a wristband for rides all day (single day). Ride wristbands are $25.

This Spring Carnival is held annually to raise funds Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC). Last year, the Knightdale Police Department’s carnival raised close to $20,000 for SONC. Captain Tracy Solomon (photo below) has served as the department’s Special Olympics Coordinator for the past eight years, and the carnival fundraiser has been held each Spring for 21+ years.
