Memorial Day Celebration of Life

Sunday, Sept. 11, a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War on Terror Memorial in Veterans Park is being held by the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association NC Chapter 15-6 and American Gold Star Mothers – Gardenia Chapter. The motorcycle association will begin riding from Sheetz on N. Main Street in Fuquay-Varina to Veterans Park at 8:15 a.m. The ceremony at Veterans Park begins at 8:45 a.m. and will conclude with a moment of silence at 9:11 a.m.
