Sunset and Moonrise Hike

Hike to the Overlook and experience the park at sunset which takes place at 6:38 p.m. The moon rise is scheduled for 7:23 p.m. so be prepared to stay near or at the Overlook until the moonrise or hike back to the Visitor Center to watch the moon as it rises above the tree line. Listen to the sounds of the park’s critters going to rest for the night while others are just waking up. For this easy 2 mile hike we will be meeting at the Visitor Center. Please bring water, flashlights and a camera.
