Blue Jay Point County Park (Greenways, Trails)
Blue Jay Point County Park Saturday, October 7th 9:00am-12:00pm All volunteers must be aged 8 or older, and must pre-register by calling 919-870-4330 or emailing bluejaypoint@wakegov.com.

Volunteers report to the Blue Jay Center, where they will receive supplies, data cards, information and maps to shoreline locations for litter removal. Big Sweep at Blue Jay is appropriate for ages 8 and up - families, groups or individuals; however, it is composed of litter removal on rocky shorelines in what may be hot and/or humid conditions. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be part of an organized group with a participating adult supervisor or be accompanied by a guardian. Age and health should be considered when volunteering for this event.

Important Note: ALL Big Sweep volunteers must sign a Volunteer Service Agreement and Release Form. Forms will be available on site, but all unaccompanied minors must bring one signed by a parent or guardian.
