Moths at Night

Prairie Ridge Ecostation for Wildlife Learning
Prairie Ridge Ecostation Saturday, July 21st 8:30pm - Sunday, July 22nd 12am Drop-in program; free; no pre-registration; all ages but best for 8+; children under 16 with adult.

Join them to celebrate National Moth Week at Prairie Ridge! After a brief orientation in the outdoor classroom, head out to our black lights to look for moths. Bring a flashlight, a camera (if you have one), and your moth questions. We’ll have activities for kids, Moth Bingo (with prizes!) and a station to upload photos of the moths that we see to citizen science projects. You’ll walk away with some basic identification guides you can use for your own moth adventures!
