Piedmont Wildlife Center's Owl Prowl

Join conservation educator, Matt Jenkins, on a nocturnal hike at Leigh Farm Park. Resident owls are finding their mates and are therefore more active and engaging this time of year. Matt will do his best owl impressions in hopes of getting a reply. If you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of a wild owl. Learn all about owls, their habitats, and enjoy a rare chance to explore Leigh Farm Park after dark. After the hike, you will also get to meet PWC’s owl ambassadors and learn fascinating facts about these animals. Ages 7+, must be able to walk slowly along a flat, 1 mi, unpaved path at night, with the possibility of very cold temperatures.
