New Years Hike

Jump-start your New Year’s resolutions on Sunday January 1 from 2-4 pm by joining our staff for a family friendly guided walk in nature. New Year’s Day Hikes will be offered at two locations; Durant Nature Preserve and Walnut Creek Wetland Center. After the walk enjoy a cup of hot cocoa while you talk with staff about what you saw. All ages are invited to attend this free event, but please dress for the weather and be prepared to walk at least a mile. Most trails at Durant Nature Preserve are natural surface and not stroller-friendly, however, strollers and wheelchairs are welcome at Walnut Creek Wetland Center.
