A celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is scheduled for January 18, 2016. The event will commence with a march at the middle school on 109 Ennis Street at 8:30 am ending at the First Baptist Church, 105 N. West Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC where breakfast will be served at 9:30 am. At 10:00 a program, including a community children"s choir and speaker Rev. Lakethia Chapman, will begin in the sanctuary.
