Historic Oak View County Park October 13th & 14th, Saturday 10am-12pm & Sunday 2pm-4pm Free and open to the public!

Oak View will host a special wayside program, "The Story of Cotton," Saturday, October 13 (10 am-noon) and Sunday, October 14 (2-4 pm) outside the Farm History Center. With hands-on activities, visitors can learn about the lifecycle of a cotton plant as well as the crop"s important impact throughout the history of North Carolina. This staff-led program is FREE and family-friendly, simply stop by any time during the advertised hours!
