Learn about Civil War medical practices and how they revolutionized battlefield medicine.  Visit the Harper House and speak to interpreters about the tool and techniques used to treat battlefield wounds.

Chris Grimes: "Jonathan Letterman, Father of Battlefield Medicine"
Wade Sokolosky: "North Carolina Confederate Hospitals 1861-1865"

Concessions will be provided by the Bentonville Volunteer Fire Department.

Nighttime Hospital Tours: Saturday Evening Only (March 16, Tickets Required***)

The Harper House and grounds will be transformed back in time to the XIV Corps field hospital as it may have looked on March 19, 1865.

***Tickets for the night tours are extremely limited, cost $15 each, and will go on sale March 1 at 9:00a.m. We anticipate them to sell out quickly. Tickets can be purchased online at https://squareup.com/store/fobb or by calling (910) 594-0789.
