Come on out and Join a Park Ranger at the Observation Deck. Learn about the bald eagles of Jordan Lake and let’s see what other birds we can spot and identify!!! The deck is located off Martha’s Chapel Road approx. ¼ mile from Ferrington Road. Look for the binocular sign and park in the gravel parking lot. Please come prepared for the weather. The deck is usually 5-10 degrees cooler then the parking area. If rain, program will be canceled. A spotting scope will be available and if you have binoculars please bring them.
