Storytime for Tots
Lake Crabtree and Black Creek Greenways (Trails)
Lake Crabtree County Park.
First Wednesdays, March-November 1pm–2pm.
The program is FREE but preregistration is required. Ages 2–5.
Discover nature beginning with a story, followed by outdoor, hands-on exploration. The program will end with a fun activity or craft to take home. Come prepared to actively participate with your child. March 1st, you will be reading Scamper: A Gray Tree Squirrel by Edna Miller. Follow the adventures of Scamper the Gray Tree Squirrel as he explores the forest. Discover the dangers a squirrel faces every day, along with their strategy for survival. After the story you will search for squirrels in the park, and learn how to communicate like squirrels. Visit their website to register online.
