Join a Park ranger for a morning of trail work to celebrate National Trails Day. We will be putting the final touches on a one mile long re-route of Company Mill Trail. Work will include raking, digging and heavy lifting. Please be prepared for 3 hours of work and 30-40 minutes of hiking. We will meet at the Visitor Center at 8:30, then drive to a gated access point for Company Mill Trail. Come have some fun on the trail and support your favorite state park. PLEASE WEAR STURDY SHOES/BOOTS AND BRING PLENTY OF WATER. BUG SPRAY IS RECOMMENDED. ALL TOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED. Reservations required. Please call the park office at #919-571-4170.
