Come be a part of our quarterly Eagle Count with New Hope Audubon Society  (www.newhopeaudubon.org). Every second Sunday of every quarter (January, April, July & October) we gather around the lake to count eagles. This is a great opportunity to enjoy Jordan Lake before the crowds and hopefully see eagles too!!  All skill levels welcome.  This is a perfect time to learn or refresh identification skills! Note: location change for the next two counts.  Poplar Point Campground will be closed for the season and count location will change to Ebenezer Church Recreation Area at 2582 Beaver Creek Rd, Apex NC 27502.   A spotting scope will be available and if you have binoculars, bring them.  You are welcome to come anytime or stay for the full hour and a half.   If you have any questions fill free to contact steve.mcmurray@ncparks.gov
