Searching for ‘The Best Tamale in Raleigh’! Join us in a celebration of the Latino culture at our 2018 Raleigh Tamale Festival. This event will take place on March 24 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Carolina Pines Community Center, located at 2305 Lake Wheeler Road. This event is free and open to the public. The festival includes a tamale competition, informational booths, food vendors, games, live music and authentic entertainment for the whole family. The event, introduced in 2008, has grown yearly. In 2017 more than 2500 people attended the event.
