Waterbugs

Get your hands (and feet) wet during a scientific survey of freshwater macro-invertebrates (i.e. water bugs). Participants will use kick nets identify critters with a dichotomous key, and interpret their results to describe the overall health of the river ecosystem.  
(Waders or closed-toe shoes that can get wet are recommended.)
 
**Children must be accompanied by an adult.
